Hard to believe it’s almost  6 years since Mom has been gone. Contrary to the often stated belief that time heals all wounds, sometimes a loss is more intensified as time goes by. Unconditional love cannot be replaced. Love you Mom 

After Mom came to live with us in 2002 she became addicted to the Judi Dench series on BBC America and PBS called " As Time Goes By" - It was a funny and clever series about a man and a woman who meet up again after 35 years and fall back in love - I know she identified with these characters - they were Marge and Paul to her not Jean and Lionel ( see I know the names too - watched most of them with her) - we figure she watched the whole series 5-6 times and some episodes even more - we bought her all the dvds -  So this song is special for her - it was before too when it pertained to Rick and Ilsa in "Casablanca"

Listening to " I'll Be Seeing You" remembering mom's story of how she wrote Dad a letter every day when he was in WWII - every night walking to the postal mail box to mail it -- She said she would be thinking of this song as she walked in the moonlight

Whether it was visiting a book store, gift shop or favorite restaurant, mom always appreciated that we shared our "finds" with her. It wasn't fully fun until we shared it with her. -- to be continued...
