Suffering with a recent bout of seriously dry skin, nothing I did was helping. Thankfully, I keep a serect stash of the good stuff. I was saved by the grace of Eight Hour Cream. While its unique scent was at times overwhelming as a child, it is now one that I love the most!

Mom's wind chimes are in my backyard garden. They hang from a pagoda and give me a sense of peace and balance when I hear them. I feel like she's with me whenever a gentle breeze blows by.

Mom had a hot rod - a 1934 Ford Roadster convertible that she zipped around town in. Later in life she was the old lady that would pull onto the freeway doing 40 mph oblivious to the traffic behind her. But before that she had a lead foot. We loved riding in the rumble seat because it was like being on a rollercoaster. She's go over a bump and we'd fly out of our seats so high that our knees would hit the deck.
