MargaruiteStrozier-Evans was born August 8, 1944 to the late Mary Strozier.  She was called home December 23, 2013 to be with her Father.  

She joined John Wesley United Methodist Church at an early age.  She attended the Coweta County School System.  As an adult she became under the watch care of Mount Ephraim Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia.  In Atlanta she worked in the Healthcare Field for over twenty-five years until her untimely disabilities.  She then returned back to her roots in Grantville where she lived, loved and enjoyed many days of sitting on the porch with family and friends.

  Margaruite was preceded in death by two of her brothers, Melvin E. Strozier and Allen W. Strozier.  She is survived by two loving and devoted daughters, KaronStrozier-Massiah and PalactineStrozier-Fleming (Michael); and Karon’s rambunctious dog TenniMeani; one loving sister, Bonsha L. Hunter (Willie); two loving brothers, Jim Strozier and Bobby W. Strozier (Oliver); two sister-in-laws, Eleanor Strozier and Brenda Strozier; three aunts, Alice Mae Spear, Ann Strozier and Emily Kate Bohannon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
