Margie Nell (Mosley) LaFitte, 76 of Dayton, TX; passed away on April 16, 2016 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11AM on Friday; April 22nd at Mount Tabor Church of Christ in Madisonville. Bro. Lanier Stevens will officiate. The family will receive visitors from 10-11AM prior to the service. The burial is to follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Margie was born in Madisonville to William and Audrey Holcomb Mosley on August 15, 1939. She served her country in The United States Air Force and worked for many years as a registered nurse.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tim LaFitte, Jr.; and her siblings, Evelyn Eunice Mosley Minor, Calvin Ennis Mosley, Alvin Dennis Mosley, Macel Dean Mosley, and Donard R. Mosley. She is survived by her daughters, Audra LaFitte and April Novack and her fiancé David Howell; her son and daughter in law John and Corrine LaFitte; her granddaughters, Amanda LaFitte, Alicia Novack, and Rose LaFitte; her brothers, Billy Mosley and Charles Mosley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 6055 South Loop East, Houston, TX 77087-1005.
