can remember when mom and dad showed me the old Ortonville High School they attended.it was 3 stories high..it had a incased slide on the outside of the school where they would do fire drills and had to slide down this thing..kind of eery to me...they would take a long walk together..and stop by this creek where they had their 1st kiss..mom said dad was a show off in high school,so he tried to make a good impression on mom..My Aunt Myrna(mom's sister) was in my dad's senior class..mom had graduated in 1947..and dad in 1948..i try to imagine what it was like for my parents back in the 40's..probably dancing to Glenn Miller's music...on December 9th 1948 mom and dad were married...
