Tributes
Leave a tributeToday....it is one year since you left us...tonight will be one year ago, since I held your hand for two days, and let it go for the final time, when you left us....
We are celebrating your life and the beautiful precious memories that you gave us
Your spirit lives on.....you are so sorely missed by us. Marianne has put out beautiful tulips for you, which she knows you enjoy... I think about you every single day....
an angel, and flies up to tell God
to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message back to
the world, and sings a silent prayer
that makes the rain cry. People dis-
appear, but they never really go away.
The spirits up there put the sun to
bed, wake up grass, and spin the
earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you
can see them dancing in a cloud during
the day-time, when they're supposed
to be sleeping. They paint the rain-
bows and also the sunsets and make
waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars and listen to
wishes. And when they sing wind-
songs, they whisper to us, don't
miss me too much. The view is nice
and I'm doing just fine.
My grandmother was the one person who had a permanent presence in my life. She was barely five feet tall, lived alone, enjoyed good health, still cooked her own meals, baked homemade bread, italian pizza, and many other scrumptious dishes for folks to enjoy when they came for a visit. She was a well built woman with a very strong presence. She enjoyed good health, gardening and the outdoors. She was a wise woman and always willing to share her wisdoms with anyone who asked.
It was difficult to watch someone try to break your spirit…and finally succeed.
Greed is such an ugly sin. I know you are in a better place, and you are finally at peace.
We will miss you for your 101st birthday on January 19, 2015. We love you Gram, Peggy, Marguerite, Aunt Margaret, you were so many things to so many people and you are so dearly missed. Happy Birthday we will always have you in our hearts…until we meet again. We love you Gram.
HAPPY 101st. BIRTHDAY !!!!

Marguerite
I am Tricia, Marguerites granddaughter, and Marguerite and I were best friends, we spoke every day sometimes all day and I was responsible for all of her shopping; cleaning supplies, cards, letters, stamps, holiday decorating, and keeping track when there were issues of an urgent nature regarding her home, her health or any other matter of concern to her.
Marguerite "Peggy" was a remarkable woman...in every way I can imagine. Fortunately, she was able to live her life very independently until after she turned 100 years old. Shortly after turning 100 years old, a rather strange set of suspicious circumstances surrouding her death was witnessed by myself, and by her friends and neighbors, as she was mysteriously forced into a nursing home, in good health never to return to us. ....
