Iuni was born in Samoa on the 22nd June 1963. She went to Vaitoloa Lepea primary school, Faleata Jr High School and CCWS Pesega college in Samoa. 

She has seven lovely children. Six girls and one boy.

Iuni moved to Austrlia in 1991 and lived in Sydney for over 20 years.  She loved life and likes to travel and visiting families and friends back home.  

In December 2012 June diagnosed with acute myeloid lukemia and she passed away in July 2013 after her bone marrow transplant failed. She was 50 years young.
