Marie Richards Temple, 92, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, August 5th 2013 at Granville House in Oxford.
A native of Wake County, the widow of Vermel W. Temple and the daughter of the late William and Lillie Bunn Richards. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Creedmoor and retired as a secretary with Creedmoor Mfg.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor by Rev. Tom Lamm and Rev. Dan Hill .Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
Surviving are three sons, David “Ricky” Temple (Shelia) of Martinsville Va, Bobby Temple (Wanda) and Rex Temple (Diana) both of Creedmoor, a sister, Sallie R. Cook of Winston Salem, a brother Maylon Richards of Birmingham, Ala., six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded by two brothers, William Richards and Raeford Richards.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 1512 Beaver Dam Rd., Creedmoor, N.C. 27522.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 7th, 2013 prior to the funeral service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home of her son Bobby Temple.
Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the Temple Family.
