Quality Human Being
What a great human being...hard to find people like Mark.
What a great human being...hard to find people like Mark.
I treasure this moment with Mark and much more now. I was ready to walk to the aisle at St Andrew's Church to marry his close friend Keith. I was so happy and very nervios, but talking to him I felt confident and ready. He was very kind and making me laugh and you can tell in the photo that we were happy. No more nervious and everything was ready to go, as Mark said....This year at the same time, on June 21st around 5.00 pm we will be gathering together to remember him in our lives. It's not this happy moment that I can fell that he is here to share with us as he did always. It will be 9 years ago we were celebrating a beginning and today his departure. We will be celebrating his life as he wanted. I'll keep him in my heart and my prayers forever. God Bless you dear friend!!!!
This is it! Mark here shows this beautiful smile that always share with all of us in the Kullberg Family. This 4th of July was memorable, because we share as family. He've been part of this family for many years and he will be forever.
I always like spending time with him and laughing and laughing like here. Rocio
Mark would swing by my office daily with a joke, a funny story or offer me an opportunity to snap his picture. <s,o;e> Last Halloween he wore a funny "head piece" and had me take his picture - then said: Use THAT photo so when I email you, you'll see that photo and laugh. I also took a photo of Mark with his immediate supervisor and it looked like 2 used car salesmen (see attached); made me smile so much that I posted it on my door! I only heard him making positive statements about his friends and about his love for Angie and his family!
Although this poem was written about a lady - I think it is so fitting since Mark always made his DASH count!
The Dash - by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end.
He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.
So when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?
