Marquis Tyron Spruill was the second oldest child born to LaTonia Jackson and Michael Spruill on December 15, 1989.

Marquis confessed his faith in Christ at an early age, and attended Metro Worship Center. He gained his education through the St. Louis public schools Dunbar Elementary, Northwest Middle and Vashon High.

Marquis was an outgoing, fun, and very friendly person who always had a smile on his face, with a contagious laugh that would make all laugh.

He leaves to cherish and carry on his memories: his loving and devoted mother, La'Tonia Jackson; his father, Michael Spruill; one brother, Michael Spruill, Jr., two sisters, Myeisha Jackson and Monique Winthrop; grandmothers, Linda Jackson and the late Naomi Carter; grandfathers, Walter Brown and the late Jimmie Spruill; great grandmother, Emma Jaackson; aunts La'Tessa Jackson, La'Paris Jackson; La'Chelle Jackson, Shayonna Brasfield; great aunts Stephanie Jackson, Annette Frazier (Phoenix, Az), one uncle Walter Jackson, great uncles, Ira Jackson, Ronnie Jackson (Angie), the late Steven Jackson, he was extremely close to cousins Russell, Ashnique, Dondesha, Dorrius, Devin, Raven, Dajia, RaMya, Jazlynn, Rittany, Rashad and a host of family and friends.
