"Happy Birthday Dad,
Despite working long hours, you always managed to find time to spend with us: teaching us tennis, bowling, and golf; taking us camping or canoeing; or taking us on a vacation. You exemplified a perfect dad: putting your family first, all awhile demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Thanks for being such a strong role model in my life.

Happy Birthday. Remember...I will always love you.
You were an amazing man. I enjoyed our time together. I always looked foward to our time together reading the paper, playing bingo, listening to music, or talking. You were always so kind and loving. To your wonderful family. May God bless you and give you peace during this difficult time. Thank you for sharing your father and husband with us. We loved him.

You passed on the sparkle in your eye to William and when I see it I think of you. I love you dad you will always be in my heart. Love, Cathy (tink)"
"Dad -- I call you that because you were a great example of a true father to me, when my family was troublesome. It's hard for me to believe that you have passed away. I believe that your spirit is always with us, and you are not gone forever. I love your family, and I love you. You have had a great influence on me, and have always welcomed me. I love you. You will certainly be missed. I'm so glad your life was in this world. Love, Deb"
