Martha Ann Bledsoe Edwards was born on December 1, 1950 to Lue Della and Deotis B/edsoe in Tallapoosa County. She joined Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She loved her church and church family. Martha was faithful to her church until her health would not allow her to attend. Martha was an out spoken individual and she had a giving heart. She touched the lives of many on her life's journey.


Martha leaves to cherish many fond memories: One daughter,
Kenyota L. Edwards of New Site, AL. One son, Kareem M. Edwards
(Sarita) of Madison, AL. Five (5) grandchildren: Cadory, Jeffrey,
Rian, Josiah and Jeremiah. Four sisters; Ora Hall and Burnetta
Hawkins of Alexander CW, AL; Glenda Bledsoe of New Site, AL;
and Catherine Thomas (Nathaniel) of Columbus, GA. One brother,
Samuel Bledsoe, (Gail) . Five (5) brothers-in-law: Willie Edwards
(Niecy) and Steve Edwards (Dorothy), of Jacksonville, FL; Stanley
Edwards (Loretta), Fredrick Edwards (Robbie) Nathaniel Edwards
(Elizabeth) of New Site, AL. Three sisters-in-law: Francenia Edwards
of New Site, AL; Elizabeth Bledsoe of Opelika, AL and Phyllis
Miller of Cleveland, OH. A host of very special nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
