This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Martha Burns, 66, born on April 3, 1946 and passed away on September 24, 2012. We will remember her forever.
Martha passed away suddenly on Monday September 24, 2012 in Riverside, CA. She was born in Oklahoma and had lived in the Corona area for over 50 years. She is survived by her husband Bobby, and six children: Donald, Thomas, BobbyJr, Denise, Shawna and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Sheila.
She touched many lives and eveyone's soul, her presence in the lives of her family and friends was a gift, that everone will always be thankful for.
Martha was a warm-hearted, sincere, loving person. Her personality was outgoing, outstanding and unforgetable. Her laugh and sense of humor alone made it worthwhile, just to know her.
She loved good food, well she liked food and socializing, enjoyed going to the casinos and being with her friends; her wonderful smile could light up a room.
"It has been a year now since Corona and probably any other city she has been to, lost a wonderful woman, friend, mother, sister, aunt & pool player that we lost when we lost you Martha. You are so loved and missed by all that knew you! Love you Martha.."
"My mom was born to be a mother; my heart hurts so much, there are no words to describe her. I am so proud and so very lucky to have her as my mother. We kids were always a handful, but she was always there with her unconditinal love, sometimes it was a hug or a kick in the butt, she was always there. I love and miss her so much. Love Shawna."
"You are not forgotten, loved one nor will you ever be, as long as life and memory last we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by we'll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face no one can fill your vacant place.
We will always love you Aunt Martha!!"
"My condolences to the Burns Family in this time of grief. I can say that I didn't know Martha all that well but I have met her several times and she was a very nice and cool lady. I remember just a couple of months ago playing her in pool at Michelle's Bar in Corona and being pretty nervous because she was a pool shark. Somehow I beat her and I was very proud....rest in peace Martha!!!!"
"To the Burns Family

You just slowly learn how to go on without them...
But always keeping then tucked safely in you heart."
"The Broken Chain
I little knew that morning. God was going to call your name,
In life I loved you dearly, in death I do the same.
It broke my heart to loose you, you did not go alone,
for part of me went with you, the day God called you home.
You left me beautiful memories your love is still my guide,
and though we cannot see you, you're always at my side.
Our family chain is broken a"
"My dear Aunt Martha, we all miss you so much. You have touched so many lives, especially family. We will always cherish all the wonderful memories we have of you. We love you! Rest in paradise!"
"Martha you made the world a brighter place with your loving, kind and thoughtful spirit. A room lit up when you were in it.
We will never forget and will always treasure our times together through the years.
The Lord took you quickly without long suffering and now you have joined your loved ones who passed before."
"Aunt Martha, I miss you so much. You have been there my entire life. I remember all the time our families spent together. The bond we formed early will never be broken. You left us all with your shining light. You will be missed. I know it's time for you to be with your baby now. One day the rest of the family will join you and in a beautiful place. Thank you for all the love and memories."
"MOM i sure could use one of your hugs right now .IM lostr with out you i miss you all ready and my life dosnt feel real right now .IM trying to do the best i can right now.But you made me strong and allways gave me all your love and im so proud of you .You will never be forgotten .I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU"
"yesterday i thought of u and my heart shed a tear for the memories all but forgotten that were always so dear i wish that we could stop in time no room for things to change i liked them just the way they were now your absence seems so strange but really things have not been lost you're always on my mind someday we'll be together again in a dream of another time"
"I am still at a loss for words as the fact that I will never see or talk to her again doesn't seem real yet. I lost my mom back in 1994, and Martha reminds me so much of my mom, I always felt the mother vibe from her.
But to know that the legacy of Martha will be around for many years to come, she was well loved by friends and family alike."
