Mary was born April 21, 1947 in Fremont to Roger and Alice ‘Weber’ Stibor. She was raised in Scribner and graduated from Scribner High School in 1965. In 1966, Mary was married to Stanley Kelberlau. They have lived on the same Kelberlau farm northwest of Scribner for 49 years. During this time Mary and Stan farmed and operated a saw mill. She also worked at Omaha Steaks in Snyder, Cattleman’s Steakhouse in Dodge, Scribner Good Samaritan Society and most recently at Mel’s Bar in Scribner.

Mary loved to spend time with family and her passion was cooking. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Scribner.
