Last Mothers Day 2011

May 13, 2012

Hi mom...
Last mothers day is one of the best and will hold it very dear. The day was wonderful, you want to get all dressed up and made it a point to want your jewley put on. You wore the pink sweater with the pearls on it. Jim and I took you out to Golden Carrol for lunch. We had a great time, you kept stealing stuff of our plates (hahaha) it was wonderful.
After lunch I figured you would be tried and ask if you wanted to come home and you replied NO you wanted to ride around and spend to day out. It was 11 pm before me made it back home, It was great spending the day as a family, little did I know that a week later you would be called home, and leave us with one of the best memories.
It now has been a year and god how I have missed you. You made it a point of enjoying that mothers day... So here it is again Mothers Day and now I have to be here without you here but in sprit you will alway be with me and I know you are looking down upon me each and every day... I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU......

                                    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM....

A raindrop landing on your cheek is a kiss from someone that lives in heaven and is watching over you....

The ditch

October 20, 2011

I remember one Saturday when I came to visit.  You put me to work cleaning out the ditches so the water would flow off the property better.  You came out to help work in the yard.  When I turned around I saw you coming outside and I laughed so hard.  You had on this sweatsuit (mind you it is 80 degrees outside) a hat with this pink scarf around it, your mud boots and gloves.  Only you could pull that off.  I will always remember all the joy you brought to my life.  You were such a joy to be around.  Made me laugh all the time.  Thinking of you on your birthday....  All my love, Kon

mom's home

I wanted everyone know that mom is at home now and this is the urn that was chosen for her. For the ones that knew her this is very much her. She love the birds and the dogwood, she like them but her favorite was the rose.....

coming home

May 25, 2011

Mom today I went and got you and brought you home and got the pendent with some of your ashes in it as well... The urn was more beautiful than the photo made it out to be... It was beautiful and heavy. Was not expecting for it to be that heavy. I had something in mind like a shelve to set the urn on BUT now that isn't going work need to rethink of how I am going to do the showcase of you.. But I will you know me I can always come up with something just for you MOM.. I can have a small part of you with me everyday to look at and hold with the necklace now. It has a figure hugging a cylinder like I was always hugging you... The urn is black granite with a blue jay and a dogwood on it... Very much you mom. I LOVE YOU MOM...

Mom today was my first day back to work since you were called home... Today was a bad day, all i did today was break down when people came to me and give me a hug. I shared memories of you and we cried together. I tried to keep my composure by I miss you so much that I could not help myself... I know you had to go but I feel selfish and wanted you here... but now I must continue without you here , except in memory and in my heart, You will live forever.... I MISS YOU MOM!!!!!

Here is a poem for Chucky. You will understand

May 23, 2011

Around

the corner I have a friend,

In

this great city that has no end,

Yet

the days go by and weeks rush

on,

And

before I know it, a year is gone.

And

I never see my old friends face,

For

life is a swift and terrible race,

He

knows

I like him just as well,

As

in the days when I rang his bell.

And

he rang mine but we were

younger then,

And

now we are busy, tired men.

Tired

of playing a foolish game,

Tired

of trying to make a name.

'Tomorrow'

I say! 'I will call on Jim

Just

to show that I'm thinking of him.'

But

tomorrow comes and tomorrow

goes,

And

distance between us grows and

grows.

Around

the corner, yet miles away,

'Here's

a telegram sir,' 'Jim died today.'

And

that's what we get and deserve

in the end

Around

the corner, a vanished friend.

Remember

to always say what you mean.

If you love someone, tell them.

Because   when you decide that it

is the right time it might be too

late.

Seize   the day. Never have

regrets.

And   most importantly, stay

close to your friends

and family, for they have helped

make you the person that you

are today.

Thoughts .......

We never get what we want,
We never want what we get,
We never have what we like,
We never like what we have.
And still we live and love.
That's life...

The best kind of friend,
Is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with,
Never say a word,
And then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

It's true that we don't know
What we've got until it's gone,
But it's also true that we don't know
What we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back.
Don't expect love in return;
Just wait for it to grow in their heart,
But if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours.

It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, An hour to like someone,
And a day to love someone,
But it takes a lifetime to forget someone.

Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
Because it takes only a smile to
Make a dark day seems bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile!

May you have
Enough happiness to make you sweet,
Enough trials to make you strong,
Enough sorrow to keep you human,
And enough hope to make you happy.

Always put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that it hurts you,
It probably hurts the other person, too.

The happiest of people
Don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
Happiness awaits for
Those who cry,
Those who hurt,
Those who have searched,
And those who have tried,

For only they can appreciate the importance of people
Who have touched their lives.

When you were born, you were crying
And everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so that when you die,
You're the one who is smiling
And everyone around you is crying.
