Mary Ann Hickey was born August 2, 1957 in Flint, MI to Donald and Helen (Shaver) Hickey. She graduated from Beecher High School in Flint in 1976. Mary Ann married Dave Shannon, and they later divorced. Mary Ann lived in Sioux St. Marie, MI and Coleman, Texas before moving to West Point in 1998. Mary Ann was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Guild. She worked as a CNA at local nursing homes and was a caregiver. Mary Ann’s favorite pastimes included playing bingo and spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons Chris (Carrie) Hickey and David Hickey, all of West Point; daughter Carol Ann Shannon of Oakland; sisters Susan Frazier of Flint, MI, Cindy Rosebush of Palmsdale, FL, and Judy Hickey of Flint, MI; grandchildren Carter, Kameryn, Bailey, Ivan, Kayilah, Siril, Nevaya, Wyatt, and Mason Hickey. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents.
