Mary Ella Satterfield DeBause passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017.
A native of Halifax County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie F. Satterfield and Annie R. Satterfield. Mary attended Providence Baptist Church and worked in Nursing Care.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford by Pastor David King. Burial will follow the service at Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery on Shiny Rock Rd. in Clarksville, Virginia.
Surviving are five daughters, Carolyn S. Stroud of Henderson; Jackie Duke (Billy) of Hillsborough; Doris DeBause of Cary; Barbara Boyd (Wade) of Goldston; Norma Winstead (Dale) of Rougemont; twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. DeBause; three brothers and five sisters and a grandson, Richard Earl Bentley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening November 15, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford.
