Mary Kay Kreikemeier, 51, Lincoln, passed away July 25, 2015. She was born May 11, 1964, in Omaha to Robert and JoAnn (Pospishil) Pechar. Mary was a 1985 graduate of UNL with a bachelor of science degree in education, and in 1998 she received her masters degree in education from Ohio University. She was a member of St. Teresas Catholic Church and was a Peace Corp member in Tunisia from 1986-1988. Mary Kay and Mike were married in Omaha on April 6, 1991. She was a stay-at-home mom for their four children from 1997 until 2005 when she returned to teaching for Lincoln Public Schools.
