A native of Shelby, NC., she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Watson Spikes. Residing in Midland since May 1992, she retired from Macy's as a Retail Sales Manager. She also was employed at Sears in Retail Sales. A devout member of Clowers C.M.E. Church in Cataula, GA., she was active with the Ushers and Culinary Ministries. She received her Associates Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg, PA.

Surviving are her husband, Leroy Walton; two sons, Willard Bellamy and Jason Leroi Walton(Latasha); one daughter, Bridgette Watson; five grandchildren, Shaka Easter, Kyeron Parsons, Terrance Burton, Jalen and Jalena Walton; two brothers-in-law, Lewis Walton(Denise) and Samuel Walton; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
