Mr. Alford, what a special, excellent person and educator you were!
The precious memories you gave us will live in our minds and hearts always!  I am unable to completely express my gratitude to you for the guidance and professional growth you gave me while I was a part of your faculty at Heard Elementary School. I do so sincerely thank you for that guidance and growth!  Please know that you will never be forgotten but remembered with respect and gratitude for each of the many positive ways you lived and affected the lives of others, including me.

When I was a teacher at Heard Elementary School, Mr. Mason Alford was the principal. How honored I am to have been a part of his faculty! A man of support, knowledge, and dedication to his noble profession, Mr. Alford touched the lives of those assigned to his care in positive, lasting ways! Through his professional expertise, he left marks of excellence and greatness that will forever remain on the sands of time. May God's sustaining, constant love comfort all who are hurting from the loss of this very special man.   With Deep Sympathy    Frances Morgan
