We were driving to Grandpa's funeral and I caught a glispe of my mom reading The bible. Grandpa read his bible everyday.....

I've seen better days, but I have also seen worse. I dont have everything that I want but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up. My life may not be perfect but I am blessed.

Grandpa your gumbo brought us together and your wonderfully prepared breakfast gave new meanings to every morning we came to stay with you and grandma. You taught us so many life lessons that only a wise man would know. You were an outstanding leader for this family. Thank you for the memories and the moments--something cancer can never take away.
