I remember when I first met Matthew he was so full of life, love, energy and a smile that would just make your heart melt. One day he came to visit his mama (gramma to the rest of you). He was sitting on her lap and then he got down and we were playing with cars and trucks and I was talking with his gramma and he looked at me and said MY MAMA, very loudly I might add, lol. I said No shes my mama, well he got mad at me and went over to my friend Helen and sat on her lap and hugged her and looked at me with such determination and said NO MY MAMA!

 Even after he got so sick and could no longer speak after his brain operation I would still sit with him and say my mama and he would shake his head side to side noting a definate NO! I knew you were in there my Mattman. We talked and shared alot during the time when he was home from St Judes and I relished the times of being able to help him and care for him.

I had the honor of being able to stay with Matthew for his last few hours here on earth and during that time each person present was able to hold him and speak with him and during that precious time for me, I whispered into his ear that only he and I could hear and told him, I relinquish to you Matthew, she is and has only been YOUR MAMA. I love you. Have fun in Heaven with Papa and everyone there waiting for you. God Bless you lil matthew. I loved being part of your life. Aunt April. (of sorts lol.)  Your Mama huh Mattman?
