I think of Matt and Molly often and of course the children. Mathew and Molly left a beautiful mark on all our hearts. Molly's beautiful smile, her love for life and dedication to her family and friends and Matt, such a great guy and so very much fun to be around. Thinking of them always brings a smile to my soul. Such a lovely couple with such good hearts. In losing them we are reminded of the preciousness of every moment of life. May their legacy of love and caring rain down on their sweet children.

Matt was such a fun guy. I loved to laugh with him and always looked forward to seeing him, enjoying his wit and humor when accompanying Molly at Frito/Pepsi events. They had such a beautiful marriage and precious family. Sometimes God brings us to our knees to understand. Matt was a close friend and prayer partner while at Kings Point. I have many fond memories that will outlive his brief time on earth. Matty was an awesome guy, and his faith in Jesus Christ will sustain him eternally.

I knew Matt from our first days in indoc in 2nd Company at Kings Point. He was the salt of the earth, always joking and making people laugh. I learned of your passing today Matt, and today is a sadder day for that. I will pray for you, your wife Molly, your children Scarlett and Harry and your extended family. What a kick to the gut this is. Fair winds and following seas Matt.

I have never met the family, however I have had you all in our thoughts during this very difficult time. I can't imagine your hurt nor the sweet children, but comforted they are both angels looking over these precious babies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and during the times ahead.

I did not know Matthew, but I do know His brother, Tim. If he was anything like Tim, he was truly a very good man.

Bob and I met Matthew and Molly in Princeton, as neighbours, where they welcomed us into their home with warmth, generosity and humour. Those few years cemented a cherished friendship that extended across the miles and we are overwhelmed with sadness at this tragic loss. Our heartfelt sympathy to family and friends. Our thoughts are with you and especially with Scarlett and Harry.

I have not seen Matt since the day we graduated in 1993. I remember him to be a very intelligent and happy person. We were not close friends but we always had friendly conversations when we were together. I'm certain he will be missed by all who knew him closer than I did. Fair winds...

Matt's Caring Bridge entry when Molly passed was to "take a few weeks or months to pen a letter to Harry and Scarlett about your life experience with Molly." Randy and I will do the same for Matt, so that his children who are 5 and 3 might know their father. May God bless Scarlett and Harry and their loved ones who are caring for them.

I had the great pleasure of working with Matthew at EDS/HP. He made everyday brighter with his big smile, positive attitude and love of life. He will truly be missed and I feel blessed to have had the chance to know him. Sending prayers to the entire family. May God give you strength during this difficult time.

I have not seen Matt since we graduated but I remember him having that great big laugh and smile. He was always nice to me and as most of our high school friends know he always greeted me by yelling my name SOOOOONIA in the halls. I am saddened for his children and I pray that they may have peace. Rest in peace Matt.

I will always remember Matt's humor and loyalty to his friends. I remember him playing the piano in choir before class. Most of all I remember him being a very good friend to all around him. I pray for his kids. Rest well my friend until we all see each other again.

I have pored thru albums, yearbooks and class pictures these last few days. From the early days of elementary school until the last BHS senior parties in '88, sweet, tall, loyal Matt was there. He was a sweet, sensitive friend who laughed loudly and supported me throughout our high school years … especially when I didn’t deserve it. His death makes me sad, but his memory makes me smile.

Sers was a very hard working, intelligent, loyal friend and teammate. Eventhough we did not keep up with each other over the years we would always have a bond by what we experienced together as a teammates through our school years. Rest in peace Sers and may God be with your family.

I worked with Molly in VA & took her place when she was promoted in '97. She was engaged to Matt, and we spent many lunches/evenings checking on wedding details. She was so excited to get married & be back in the same town as Matt. I finally met Matt at the wedding! Their love was so evident; their love for Christ was even more so. God bless & protect Scarlett & Harry.
