My mother was born in Clermont County in the year of1953. To the parents of James Otis Hillard and Gladys May Hillard. She grew up an only child and always favored goin out with her father more then wanting to be at home learning her womanly duties. But that came around later down the road.. She was a tom boy and loved to hunt. I remember once she told me when she caught her first squirrel. She was so happy. She loved nature and the free out doors.
