You left us a year ago today. You were loved and will always be remembered. I remember this day last year so well when I got the news I was sitting on my computer just as I am know preparing for finals and I remember thinking how I was going to get threw this day. Well its a year later and I made it threw that day and many more days like it. I just have one last thing to say Uncle Mike I love you.

Pastor today used the verse from Galatians 5:22. He took each word and related it to Mike. It was a beautiful service delivered by a man who truly knew Mike. Maybe we can use this verse as a springboard for our memories.

Michael Arthur Miles

Michael Arthur Miles passed away on Nov. 3, 2015 in Rapid City, S.D. He was 69.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Miles of Gordon, his children Kevin Miles of Texas, Cory Yellow Boy of Rapid City, Tom Yellow Boy of Mission, S.D., Daryl Hunt of Brandon, S.D., Kathy Miles of Colorado and Sheila Mobley of New York, his sister Reneann Kimball of Bartley, Neb., as well as 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Betty (Eiesland) Miles and one brother, David Miles.

Visitation services will run from 8:00-10:00 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at the American Legion in Martin, S.D., followed immediately by the funeral service 10:00 a.m. at the same location, Pastor Bill Combs officiating..

He will be buried at 1:00 p.m. at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, S.D.
