Mike called to ask us to fly down to Mexico because pat was out of town for a few days. He met us at the airport driving pat"s mercedes. which pat asked him not drive his car knowing full well he would. Mike drove like a bat outta hell. We loved staying in  pat''s penthouse in a nice neighborhood. he took us all over the place. We went to Taxco to buy some silver trinkets & have lunch. Mike paid some Mexican kids to watch the car. On the way back to Mexico City we sropped at a roadside overlook to see the view & stretch our legs. All of sudden a tour bus came scheeching down to a  tollbooth he seemed not to know about. His tires & brakes  were smoking attempting to slow down to stop for the tollbooth but he opened his window & threw out the tariff in dollars and coins. We started Laughing So haRd  we were hurting. A great memory for a lifetime!!
