This memorial website was created in memory of our son , Michael cox, 20, born on February 2, 1995 and passed away on January 2, 2016. We will remember him forever.Michael is greatly missed by many and not a day goes by that he's not thought of in some sort of way.he leaves behind 4 brothers,his parents,his aunts his uncle's,many cousins,and his grandparents.Michael graduated high school in 2013 from bethel high school in Hampton by the skin of his teeth but we was very proud of him.he made mistakes just like any other child has,but he worked very hard to reverse his mistakes and lead his life in the right direction.he always wanted to be in auto body and finally landed a job in that career at Haskins Auto body in Mathews.Michael was a very outgoing,goofy,siily,type of person.if you was in a bad mood he could usually make u smile.there was times he was pretty mad with me but that's because I was his mom disciplining him.and riding his butt to keep him going in the right direction.I remember Michael at 4 years old just weeks before kindergarten I could not get him to wear a pair of underwear.my husband,his stepdad finally got him to put them on.it was horrible.I refused Michael and his brother their sippy cups and both grandma's bought them new ones,lol.Michael was a mess.he hated his wooden corrective shoes too,but we got through that too.there's so many memories of Michael and sadly that's all that's left is memories,so feel free to share your memories here.we love and miss you Michael Floyd Cox always and forever
