This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Michael Savins, 69 years old, born on October 13, 1944, and passed away on July 25, 2014. We will remember him forever.
Michael you’ve been gone a while now matey, you wouldn’t recognise the village & I doubt you’d like it, just about everything changes & not for the better. Do you know you’re still thought of & get mentions? When John has his woolly hat on & it’s sticking up he’s wearing a ‘cardinal Savins’ hat , when one of us say your phrase of “getting there” it’s always followed by ‘yes Michael’ so we keep you in mind with little things like that . We wish you’d told us how unhappy you were, we would have tried to help because you were a friend & a generally good stick. Hope you’re at peace & you never know one day we might just meet up again until then enjoy your pea-wine & don’t get any great inventing ideas...heavens probably fine as it is. Sleep well Michael. X
