|Let the memory of Michael be with us forever.|
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Michael Binon, 59, born on March 12, 1953 and passed away on September 18, 2012. We will remember him forever.
A memorial Mass was held for Michael at the church of St. Rita in Solon, Ohio on Monday October 15th at 10:30am. We are grateful to all who attended. Your caring helped us all as we work to deal with our tremendous loss.
Mass will be today September 18, 2013 at 8:45am
I still think about you constantly. I still miss our talks. I would give almost anything to split a six-pack with you and swap stories. You are awesome and still I look up to you and thank you for the advice and knowledge you have given me.
"Always in my heart and never far from my thoughts. Miss you dearly."
"I was looking for the pictures of us at Hippie Fest to celebrate your birthday! Nothing can ever prepare us for the special people we will meet along this journey we call life, but I do know that it was a privilege and honor to have met you."
"It's been four years since you were called home. The memories of happy times grow stronger every day. Though our time of knowing each other was brief, I could tell that you have such a special soul just by your caring nature and your welcoming smile. You are truly missed and thought about every day."
"It's harder to find the words this year my dear brother. You always have a special place in my heart and my thoughts, especially lately as I try to come to grips with what you must have gone through with your cancers. I pray the Lord is holding you near. I miss you so."
"Sending out my love and to let you know how often you are in my thoughts. I think often of LIz and Mat and May and wish they still had you near."
"There are no words Mike. I heard the last message you left me again yesterday and it makes me smile like it did the very first time I heard it. I always miss you but you always still can make me smile and laugh. Thank you for that. I love you always"
I know you have spent all of our time together trying to teach me the life lessons you could. Many lessons you taught. Most seemed out of my grasp at the time. a profound amount has become clear to me. even now, there are things that trigger an "Aha!". And every time, it tickles me and pains me, that I can't call you and tell you how silly it got before I remembered what you had taught me. I miss our talks we had when I would drive to work in Alabama. But thanks for listening to me and mutterings as I do my daily drives now. I love and miss you. I pray for you and Uncle Tom all the time. Alisa and Taka still ask about you and want to ride the forklift again.
Love you tons,
"Dad, I sill miss you and can't even believe it's been 3years. I want to pick up the phone and ask you questions about wood fillers, or different tips like the "righty tighty, left lucy" you taught me. You were a true ARTIST no matter what you were accomplishing, be it the new floors or creating new room and laying concrete. You were a Renaissance man in every way...and we miss you. Not many made like that and none like you for sure. I know you are keeping a watchful eye on us down here...and in the meantime, til I see you again and I know I will...I'll try to "Keep on Truckin!" <3 u, SlinkyB"
"if there ever comes a day when we can't be together,
I'll keep you in my heart and forever there you stay.
Not 3 years but everyday."
"We miss you always brother Mike. I wish we just have another phone call, another laugh. Life is good, we have many blessings...but it's not as sweet without you here. God bless and keep you."
"What a dedicated Dad. I know your children and grandchildren...and all of us miss you today more than ever. Thank you for your parenting and your legacy."
"Hi Mike. I thought of you all day Thursday and just keep missing you. I guess you already know what's going on here and I can feel you sending strength our way. Thank you for that. It means so much to both of us, but I sure wish I could talk to you right now. Love you forever"
"Today I have had such great thoughts and memories of you. Like all of us...remembering your laugh & your stories. You are so special and you live in my heart today and always. I can see you in my minds eye, gathering up the newspaper bundles. They were almost bigger than you were on Sunday's. I love you."
"Dad, you left us too soon. You will always be missed - each and every day. I wish you were here today and every day so I can give you hugs...especially on your birthday. I love you so much - and I know you know this because you are in Heaven now and you know all that God knows and are watching over us. One day - we will be seeing you again. I love your smiles, the way you could always get us to laugh, the crazy stories you would tell - you were a natural storyteller. You were always willing to help anyone - giving the shirt off your back. I will miss your advice and the times we spent playing cribbage. I will have to teach Wesley as soon as he is old enough to learn. Love you forever and always. Liz xoxo"
"Happy birthday uncle mike! I know more than ever that you are watching over us right now. Thank you and miss you. Love, Katie"
"There will always be a place in my heart for you Mike. Think of you often my friend.
"Think of you often brother. Missing you always."
Michael and I are at the Gunship reunion again; we always wished you could have joined us. Today as we toured Old Town Albuquerque we were able to visit a beautiful chapel and pray for you and all those who miss you so much today and always. Love, Theresa and Michael"
"Hey Dad, I still enjoy telling you jokes that I think you would like to hear. Writing to you though, this hurts. I miss you as much as I did a year ago. You definitely left a mark on many things in this world. The love you shared is still obvious when little Taka and Alisa still tell me that they want to see Grandma and Grandpa in Florida. I think of you often and my understanding of you and your ways are still developing.
Thanks for everything. I will see you again.
"Dad, Wes and I both miss you very much. Wesley knows you are in heaven watching over him and that he will see you again. I miss being able to talk to you, your hugs and the feeling you hav me that everything would always be all right. You were a special man to all of us and we miss you terribly. Love you and glad you are in God's hands watching over us all.
Liz and Wes"
"Dear Mike, I use a vanilla scented body wash and often recall the time you came for a visit and I had vanilla scented bathroom room deodorizer. You came downstairs and told the kids "Grandma's in the bathroom making cookies." Love, Mom"
"Mike, you are in my dreams so often lately. It's the only way I get to see or hear you now so please keep coming. Words can't tell you what I would give to for a hug from you right now. I miss you so much."
"I wish you would call tonight and tell me one of your stories."
"M.A.T. and Liz,
Before the cassette tape was lost forever I wanted to share a bit of your life with your Dad. The tape is about 30 years old and is difficult to make out all of what is said, but his laugh and love for you both is unmistakable.
For my Beezos.............in honor of your Dad on Father's Day."
"Thank you for the Father's Day memories of Mike. With love to his Liz, Mat, Alissa, Wes and Taka."
"Life is not as much fun without you here brother. I miss our long talks. Sometimes not about much at all. Still the world is a sadder place without you. Love you, Mike."
"I wanted to have a big party for you when you turned 60 now I would just like to go to the diner and order Liver and Onions for you. Instead I will play you a love song. Good night sweet prince."
I just want you to call and say "huh low".
You gave us your love & your laughter. Thank you.
I figured out the gift you gave Michael & I when we married.
Thank you for that too.
We miss you every day."
You make my life hard now. Because I can't get through most days without seeing something that reminds me of you. Or if I hear a joke I want to tell you. Its hard because everything you taught me makes things easier for me and it reminds me of you. I love you and miss you so much.
Thanks for staying in my life, thanks for hanging on like you did. Those last days meant a lot to me.
I love you, Dad.
Your son. Mat"
"Happy Birthday Mike You are always in our thoughts and prayers. I miss you my friend. Save a place for me. Mike"

"Dad, I miss you everyday. I miss your smile, your humor, and especially your hugs. love knows no bounds and Wesley and I wish you a happy birthday.love Liz"
"Tomorrow is your birthday Mike. And even though I can't share the day with you I still celebrate. Because you were here as long as you were, I had almost 58 years to share life love and laughs with you. Know that I miss you and love you always!"
"I miss you Mike, I am comforted to know that your spirit and presence are with us on Christmas & as Mom goes through her surgery. Like you did here on earth, thank you for watching out for us and now watching over us,"
"Mike, A year ago you got your wings. It doesn't seem possible. I know you are free from pain and looking down on May, and the rest of your family and wishing away their tears and sadness. I am so glad I got to know you even if it was for just a little while"
"Hey, Big Brother. I Think about you each and every day, I heard from you in my dreams. thank goodness love transcends the distance between us, Happy New Birthday!"
"God looked in His garden and found an empty place, then down on earth and saw your tired face. He saw the road was rough, the hills hard to climb, then He whispered "this one is mine". He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. His garden is so beautiful He always takes the best Our hearts broke to lose you but you were not alone. Part of us left with you when God called you home."
"It doesn't seem possible that you have been gone for a year. I will never forget you for your sense of humor and the hilarious stories from work. You were truly a special friend and I miss you..."
"Dear Mike, Thinking of you especially today and your kindness and care for little ones. Like at the 55th when you went out and bought another grill so the kids would get fed in a timely fashion. Your perception and attention to their needs came from a big heart. Love you and miss you. Mom"
"Hey Dad, I heard some jokes that I want to tell you... I will work on my long distance carrier plan so I can get a clearer connection. Don't worry I will write them down for you.
Thanks for always looking out for me and the whole family.
We all miss you. Love you Dad, Mat"
"Mike, I love you and miss you so much that words cannot express it. How many countless times I have wanted to call you and tell you things or hear an old story told new from you. But now your pain is gone and I hope you dance!"
"It's been a year since you left us, brother. I miss you as much today as I did a year ago. Keep your knees in the breeze and the bugs out of your teeth. Love you bro."
"Hello Vince and Suzy,
Thank you for the smiling photos of our dear brother, son, father, grandfather & husband. Your photos & story capture the fun, funny & kind hearted man - In his element."
"Mike: We met you through Maybeth. We had fun times together, late nights with much laughter and joking. You got such a kick out of Vince's explanation of old men grunting when they stand up or get out of a car. You generously helped us with our roof after Hurricane Wilma and showed us how to unclog a drain. Every time Suzy unclogs a drain, she thinks of you and smiles. Vince & Suzy"
"I think of you every day this month of August, Mike. What was your journey, were you scared? Did you know how we waited for any bit of news of how you were doing? I thank you and May for getting us all together in June. Michael and I pray for May and Liz and their plans to go to New York. Life is busy and full - but still so sad without your laughter. I miss you so very much."
"I miss you so much. Mr Mike and I look forward to seeing May and Mat & Liz & Rob with their families. You left us to soon."
"Perhaps my time seemed all too brief --
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
Love and kisses, Henrietta Longstone (Bubba Louie)
aka Barbara (your always loving twin)."
"I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play'
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savored much:
Good times, good friends, a loved one's touch. (Cont'd)"
"Contributed by Henrietta Longstone
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all.
"Dear Mike, We had another Mass for you today. This one was at the Little Sisters. Maybe, you've already had contact with Sr. joseph. Give her our best. We miss you very much. Mat called Dad on his birthday and we are blown away by how much he sounds like you. God bless you and keep you happy, my smiling son. Mom"
I have some things I would like to talk with you about. Both entertaining and others just questions. Wish I had more time to spend with you. Love ya, Bubba

"" My Brother, My BRO, Our times together are some of my fondest memories, not always great times, but great because I got to spend it with you. Where ever and when ever I ride, I'll do it with you on my mind. Thanks again for "getting my knees in the breeze". Love you Brother."
"Mike, it has taken me a while to write this tribute to you. I value the times we spent together with May and Theresa. Those were fun times. We became good friends and I will never forget you. You will always be part our life. I miss you my friend, Mike"
"Mike, you are an amazing brother and friend and I know that has not, and never will, change. I am the luckiest sister in the whole history of the Universe. Friday noons will always be ours! Give my love to Mary and our grandparents and I'll see you on the steps..."
"What is there to say about my older "Big" Brother...He is the beSt! Mike, you will always be the beSt! (Mary used to call me a peSt with a capital S.) I have many memories of good times and not so good times of the beSt brother and each memory is very dear to me. Michael, I may not be able to reach out with my hand and touch you but I reach out to you with heart and I touch your soul."
"Uncle Mike - I always remember the fun we had...going to the circus, hanging out at your house and feeding the rabbit. Not to mention "driving" the bus around the depot."
"My dear Uncle Mike - I will forever cherish my memories of you and the joy you have brought to our family. I'm glad we got to swap a few Girl with the Dragon Tattoo books and I'll always hold dear to my heart the Valentine's Day card you sent me last year. In loving memory, Katie"
