I have many fond memories of Michael as a little boy. He and my daughter loved going to their grandmother and granddaddy's house and playing together. He was a very special nephew to me.

Mike,
You are the love of my life and these years with you have been a blessing. We were looking forward to many more and the time came when you left me early, I know it wasn't by choice. Love you till we meet again in heaven one day.

Jen

One of the goat stories

October 28, 2014

I just thought of this today.  Mike went into the armory in Brownsville one Saturday morning because he had some soldiers leaving on a mission that day so he was just going to be in there for a few hours to get them gone.  Before he left I called him and asked him if he would run by Robert and Rebecca Armes house that Rebecca had something for me.  Since I was the RVC and Rebecca was one of my FRG leaders he just assumed it would be some FRG stuff.  So he runs by there and she comes around the house with the cutest black and white pigmy goat.  So on the way home he puts the goat in the very back of his car and it bahs all the way home and he gets a phone call from one of his soldiers that is on the mission.  They heard the goat and the conservation goes from the mission to Mike riding around with a goat in his car.  Then he said his phone kept blowing up because everyone was calling him to hear the goat bahing.  Of course from then on whenever I asked him to go by and pick something up for me I got a thousand questions of what exactly he was picking up.
