It was a lovely day, the day of your send off. The church service, the meal and the weather balloon. Watching you float up and away, until the balloon disappeared was so emotional. As we toasted you with your pink champagne, even the passers by almost joined in. Miss you...you are always in my thoughts. Xxx

Weather Balloon

April 15, 2012
So, yesterday (14/04/2012) we had a little gathering. Firstly we put you with your Dad and had a short service and said goodbye again. Got a little emotional. We then had some lunch in your memory and had a small toast. After lunch we drove up to the downs where we opened some LPR, put some of your ashes and some of my Dads ashes into a weather balloon, filled it with helium, raised our glasses and let you go. We watched the balloon for ages. The clouds parted and you went straight into the clear skies. You and Dad are now floating about in the stratosphere looking down on us. We can now genuinely look to the skies when we toast your memory from now on. I was joined by; Your Mum, Simon and Jackie, Clare, Shelley and John, Andy and Bonny, Wayne and Sam, Kyle, Kirsty and Laiton. Love you. xxxxx NUNC SCIO QUID SIT AMOR

Miss you!

March 23, 2012

Took me  awhile to write something here and still not truly sure exactly what I should write but thought I would still pop by to say hello!

I have so many stories I'm not sure where to start, the time you were the one to tell me in the morning that I'd broken Steve Rogers glasses on the night out before, drunken times a plenty in the O2, the wharf, the Square, every ha ha meeting ever anywhere!!

It's the little things you rememeber, like the way I had to repeatedly pause Celebrity Juice to talk to you about what just happened! Monday morning bad santa emails, Daisy waterfalls & countless great Roadhouse nights!!

One of my favourite memories of you is how you embraced my Ma on Facebook, never mind how embarassing I thought it was, that's the sort of special person you were, you always had time and a smile for anyone and a way of making everyone feel special!

I miss our daily telephone conversations, I miss the fun we used to have setting the world to rights and I'm gutted we never managed our Pizza Hut buffet eat all you can lunch date!!!

Love you loads, think about you daily

first x'mas

March 2, 2012

I remember my first Christmas in England, I was working for Michelle in Ruislip Golf Centre. We were doing all x'massy and I couldn't find a word for a reindeers...so I have named them "santa's horses"...we were laughing for hours and liked it so much that we were using that "new meaning" every x'mas ;D
Even now when I think about it, it makes me smile...because I see Michelle bursting into laughter...We always found a reason to laugh...It's good I have my memories!!

Dear Michelle,
Still can't belive that you are gone, I was always thinking that one day I will come to UK for a visit and I will meet up with you...
You will stay in my heart forever!!! love you xxx

March 2, 2012

I never actually met Michelle,we became friends on Facebook and she was like a surrogate Mum to Benedict....along with a few others,we enjoyed teasing him but I knew how special Michelle was purely by how much she was loved by my Son.
We were planning to meet but now we'll have to wait...I'm adding a copy of some messages we exchanged just a year ago.I will always love you and will always be grateful that Benedict had you in his life. x

Hi Mich.I have bought a Peroni clock for Benedict but I think he may be in London next week so it would be better to send it to his work..trouble is I don't know the address as there seem to be 2 in Birmingham, could you tell me and also do you think he will like it?Love Vicky X

26 February 2011 Michelle Hardy

Hey Vicky omg - he'll LOVE it !!! I think you'll be better off sending to home coz the site will be closed & builders in. I know he's in london tues-fri but he'll be able to get from the post office. Other option is maybe send it to Santa Fe in Bluewater - i'm sure he & Steve will be meeting up at some point next week!!! let me know if u need any more info xx

26 February 2011 Vicky Evans

Thanks Michelle.I will send it to his Flat and as you say he'll be able to get it from the P.O.I googled Peroni because it often seems to be connected to Benedict and I didn't have a clue what it was and there were Peroni clocks so I'm so glad you think he will love one...and it's great to send him a present out of the blue when it's not his Birthday..just an" I love you Beautiful Son !" present.Take care Mich. Taittinger

February 19, 2012
A favourite place of both mine and Michelle's was the Taittinger Mansion in Napa Valley, California. We visited many times. When we decided we wanted to visit Reims last year (2011) we decided to visit the original Taittinger mansion. The one outstanding memory of this was a comment made by Michelle before we went. The comment was as follows: "do you think the Taittinger mansion in Reims will be as authentic as the one in Napa Valley?" when i had stopped laughing and she realised what she had said, she begged me never to tell anyone. How could i ever keep that to myself? I love you my darling, for making me laugh so many times.

Remembering Michelle and Lee running the Nags Head in Burntwood. Memories of lock ins (oops!) Michelles chilli, Bud the huge doggie, sparkling Christmases, her smile and sweetness will not be forgotten. She loved her work and her holidays and she loved Christmas most of all, the pub has never looked the same without the Christmas trees and lights she put up Everywhere!
