This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Mike Schnackenberg, 30, born on August 15, 1984 and passed away on September 27, 2014.

Michael Wayne Schnackenberg was born Aug. 15, 1984, to Joel and Dawn Schnackenberg in Watertown. He received his GED in Watertown. Michael worked at Dakota Bodies, Dakota Sioux Casino and R.W. Construction.

Michael loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He loved going on family vacations with his son and fiance. He enjoyed drawing, tattoos and bead work. He made many friends and always gave of himself to the people in his life.

Michael is survived by his parents, Joel (Sharon) Schnackenberg, Dawn Schnackenberg (Shawn Ohlsen); his sister, Tasha Schnackenberg; grandparents, Harvey (Bev) Schnackenberg; step-sisters, Miranda and Melissa Palmer; and his fiance Lexi, and son Ryker.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd (Doris) Redday and great-grandparents, Art Mitchell, Verdie and Oscar Schnackenberg and Sylvester and Gladys Small.

I Remember the day mikey  was born.i even got to give him my middle name. It was pasted down to me from my uncle. .I watched him grow from a totter to a teenager. To the man that we all know & love. .I've always treated mike like my own son.he was my friend my nephew & my son..I miss him    with all my heart. We only had good times him & I..o lost a part of me when he passed. There is a hole in my heart that can not be healed. I miss him so much. .my heart is broken. One day my time will come..The 1st thing I will do is find u neph..& we will talk like we used to & we will have good times again. .I look forward to that day. .til then uncle will always think of u..& so u know (I am proud of u & will miss u everyday) til we see each other again.all my love..Uncle Dave. .:(..
