"Cont.. Even after we moved away, anytime we seen Mike, he would always give me a bear hug.. He was always the gentle giant in my eyes. So many memories are flooding back and all good ones :) Sad that he left this world too soon but he is in Heaven with his Mama and I know he enjoyed their visits :) Gone but not Forgotten"
"Mike was part of the ole gang that grew up in Desert Shores. I remember all the times he played in the band with the guys. Even after we all moved away, he would still go down to see his Mama and ride in the Christmas Parade, toys for tots.. He was a proud man, a kind man, you can see it in his eyes. Truly blessed to have known such a beautiful person, inside and out. He will be missed :("
"I'm so glad I got to see Uncle Mike on Christmas. I knew he was in pain and he made the sacrifice to come anyways. Thanks Uncle Mike, rest in peace and keep grandpa company. xoxo -nessa"
"He was my father. A man who taught me much, and touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed, and forever loved."
