Mildred Mary Prinz was born September 15, 1926 to Joseph and Elizabeth (Stratman) Uhing, on the family farm. She was a 1945 graduate of Guardian Angels High School and on November 23, 1948, married Leonard Prinz at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. They farmed east of West Point for several years, moving into West Point in 1974. Mildred spend four years in Omaha to be near her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Guild. She enjoyed traveling, golfing, reading, needlepoint and playing bridge.
