Lillian was a long-time resident of Cape May Court House, NJ. She departed this life at the age of 78. She was born March 4, 1934 in Hazard Ketucky to the late Preston and Minreauh (Moore) Burrell. She retired from Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital as a Dietary Aide.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bishop William P. Shockley, their sons: Carlitos P, Renardo W, Mario, and William, their daughters: Anita Brown, Cynthia Chaney, Carmelita Boyd, Leonora Sanders, Selena Keyes, Wanda Frazier, and Sonya Jackson.

She was predeceased by her daughter Dorthea C, and son Santo A, Brother Hayward Sanders, Grandson Bradley and granddaughter Precious J.
