Mr. Rowe attended Loachapoka Elementary School, Drake High School and graduated from Auburn High School. At an early age he became a member of Ebenezer C.M.E. Church in Loachapoka.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Lee and Ralphine Barnes Rowe, his daughter, Jacquette M. Reese and his wife, Denise H. Rowe.

His survivors include: one son, Dr. Adrian K. Rowe, Tuscaloosa, AL; grandson, Jeremiah Reese, Tuscaloosa, AL; granddaughters, Atrenna N. Rowe, Waco, TX and Shakeir D. Knox, Tuscaloosa, AL; two sisters, Penny Rowe and Venita Rowell both of Auburn, AL; an aunt, Mollie Grainger, Auburn, AL; one step-son, Othery Burton, Lanett, AL; daughter-in-law, Veronica Burton, Valley, AL; sisters-in-law, Eloise Patton, West Point, GA, Evangale (Arthur) Walker, Opelika, AL, Kathy (Alfred) Johnson and Seneca (Ray) Martin both of San Antonio, TX, Nina Cotton, Riverdale, GA and Twyla (Johnny) Heard, Lanett, AL; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Carrie) Atkinson, West Point, GA, Sandy Atkinson III, College Park, GA and Demarco Atkinson, West Point, GA; step-grandsons, Dequavius Barker, Jaquerius Barker and Lamontae Barker all of Portsmouth, VA, T'boskii Sharpe and Justice Burton both of Valley, AL and Auhmonti Burton, Auburn, AL; special friends, Henry (Sonya) Story and Horace (Theresa) Walton.
