His survivors include: his devoted cousin and caretaker, Wanda Faye McCants, Lanett, AL; four brothers, J B (Georgia) Trammell and Johnny (Earnestine) Huguley both of Lanett, AL, Eugene (Jean) Walker, Valley, AL and Jimmy Trammell, Decatur, GA; one sister, Elizabeth Nizer, Decatur, GA; one aunt, Lula Mae Washington; and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Bobby and Diane White, Matt White, Henry and Deborah Brooks and "Honey B".
