Mr. Sanders was born January 25, 1923 in Waverly, AL to the parentage of Arthur and Minnie Lois Sanders.

He served in the United States Army from June 6, 1941 until July 31, 1945 receiving an Honorable Discharge. He was a cabinet maker for Bob Reed Fixing Company.

Mr. Sanders has been a resident of Lanier Nursing Home for several years and has no known relatives.
