David Walker was born on April 20, 1958 to the late Mrs. Lizzie Mae Walker and Mr. Johnny H. Meriwether.  He departed this life on October 8, 2014.

  He was preceded in death by three brothers, Retired First Sargent Johnny Walker Sr., Robert Lee Walker and Frankie Lee Davis.

  At an early age he joined the White Oak Grove Baptist Church where he served on the Deacon Board.  He also was a graduate of East Coweta High School.

David was employed with E. R. Snell Contractor as a Flag Man until his health fail.

  He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers, John (Joyce) Walker, Eugene Meriwether; four sisters, Katie Mae Walker, JoAnn (Frank) Snelling, Linda Walker and Michelle Walker, all of Newnan, GA; three sisters-in-law, Sara Walker, Nancy Davis and Diane Walker;  one uncle, L. D. Amey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend, Linda Bell.
