Mr. Gregory Lamorris “Greg” Strickland Gilliam, the son of Wilbert “Joe” and Hattie Strickland Gillam was born December 26, 1963 in West Point, GA. He departed this life on December 25, 2015 at the EAMC-Lanier, Valley, AL.

“Greg” , as he was known to many, attended the West Point City School System. He was a former employee of General Fibers, LaGrange, GA.

“Greg” enjoyed sitting in his parents’ yard talking to his family members and friends. He never met a Stanger and was willing to help others.

Gregory was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Estella and James Gilliam; his maternal grandparents, Jim Henry and Annie Margaret Strickland; an array of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Greg leaves to cherish is loving memory: a dear daughter, Deuanna Nook Nadutey, West Point, GA; parents, Wilbert “Joe” and Hattie Gilliam. one brother, Terry Gilliam, West Point, GA; two sisters, Sabrina Gilliam, Loretta Gilliam, West Point, GA; three aunts, Anita Huguley, Bessie Billingsle and Willie Strickland, West Point, GA; one uncle, Tommy (Dorothy) Gilliam, West Point, GA; four nephews, Enrique, Christopher, Torri and Kyle and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
