November 5, 2015

Jimmie Earl Little was born to the parentage of Tommie and Cora Bell Cooper Little on January 30, 1947 in Chambers County, Alabama. Known by many as Jim Earl, he was always willing to help in any way he could. His love for Christ was evident in the manner in which he treated others.

He joined Zion Rest Baptist Valley Al at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. P.W. Wallace. Jimmie later became a faithful servant at The Bridge Church Cussetta Al.

Mr. Little was a 1965 graduate of Rehobeth High School. During his high school matriculation, he fulfilled his love for the game of basketball. Upon graduation, Jimmie Earl took the oath to protect and serve his country, thereby enlisting in the Unites States Army. Upon completion of his tour of duty he received an Honorable Discharge. Afterwards, he was a dedicated employee of West Point Pepperell until retirement.

He was a loyal father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jimmie Earl Little departed this life on Monday, November 2, 2015 in East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
