Mr. Kay Arthur Garner, the son of the late Katherine Garner was born February 17, 1949 in West Point, GA. He departed this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at EAMC-Lanier Hospital, Valley, AL.

Kay accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, GA.

Kay Arthur received his education in the West Point Public School System and was a member of the 1966 graduating class of Harrison High School.

After high school, Kay Arthur enlisted into the United States Army where he served tours of duty in Korea and Germany.

Kay Arthur for known in the community as the neighborhood barber. Clients would be waiting in line for a “fresh cut.”

He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Jarrett.

Kay leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Antonio Williams, Lanett, AL; Kelvin (Yvette) Williams, Newnan, GA; two sisters, Mary(Harry Beach) Burton, and Cynthia(Arthur Shealey) Walker, West Point, GA; three grandchildren, Austin Williams, Newnan, GA; Breanna Tiara Williams, Lanett, AL and Harmonie Lafree Williams Valley, AL; one niece, Keisha Carothers, Ocean Springs, MS; four nephews, Marc(Star) Garner, Chris(Monique) Garner, Lanett, AL; Kenyell(Dana) Jarrett, Adamstown, MD; James Garner, West Point, GA; adopted nephews, Arthur Huguley, Jr., Keymone Hicks, West Point, GA, a host of great nieces and great nephews, and other relatives and friends; special friends, Marie Marshall, Lanett, Alton Scorggins, Arthur Bonner, Harold Huguley, Wayne Jones, Joseph Hicks, West Point, GA
