His survivors include: his wife, Shelia M. Barnes, Lanett, AL; a daughter Carleka (Roderick) Edmonson, Lanett, AL; two sons, Sherdarious Barnes and Melvin Barnes both of Lanett, AL; two brothers, John Lee and Tony (Bettye) Barnes both of Lanett, AL; three grandchildren; one sister-in-law; four brothers-in-law; aunts and uncles; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends
