Mr. Willie Frank "Bill" Barker was born on January 25, 1934 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Wallace Barker, Sr. and the late Carrie Lee Sims Barker.  He departed this life on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital, Valley, AL.

He accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age and united with Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, Lanett, Alabama.

Bill was united in Holy Matrimony, September 30, 1994 to Marian Carter Barker.

He retired from West Point Pepperell, after 42 years of service.

He was preceded in death by; one son, Alexander Renay Barker; three sisters, Rosie Lee Barker Truitt, Fannie Barker Billingsley and Luvenia Barker Barnes; one brother, Wallace Barker, Jr.

Willie leaves to cherish many precious memories; a wife, Marian C. Barker; three daughters, Cassandra (Victor) McCarden, Valley, AL, Jennifer Hunter, Birmingham, AL and Jacqueline Jones, Valley, AL; one son, Anthony Barker, Salem, AL; three sisters, Mary B. William, Lanett, AL, Francis Fears and Maggie Combs, Detroit Michigan; three sisters-in-law, Willie Lue Carter, Virginia Bennett and Mary Carter, all of Valley, AL; two brothers-in-law, Benjamin Bennett, Larkin McCants both of Valley, AL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
