"In Memory of Elesie (Precious) by Charlene Heinl and Lisa Burke
There are no more tears in Heaven,
so I have left behind
these little teardrops
to lovingly remind
though absent form the body,
I'm present with the Lord,
the joy of my salvation
is now my full reward.
And just as God has promised
He's wiped my tears away
and nothing can compare to
the wonder of that day.
So wear this (a tear drop silver necklace) in my memory
and know that up above
there are no tears in Heaven.
Instead there's only Love"

"Let the memory of our sister Elesie be with us forever.
Elesie, I cannot believe you are gone at the prime of your life, but GOD knows.
You were a talented, precious gift of God. You were special and unique. God used you as an intercessor. You reached out and prayed for others.
Elesie, you were resolute in your trust and faith in God.
Give us the grace Lord to bear the irreparable loss.

"TRIBUTE TO AUNTY ELESIE
" Aunty Elesie, the news of your passing hit me hard. Even though I hadn't seen you in a while, I had grown accustomed to our phone conversations, your encouraging words and your constant checking up on I and Eche. You went way too soon, but God is in control. I love you. Rest in Peace Aunty".
Uba Chijioke Emole"
Your grace and courage will always be an inspiration to me. I'm thankful for the times you called and prayed with me and my family during my dad's illness and after he passed. You are deeply missed but I am thankful because I know you are with the Lord now; no more pain, medications nor doctor visits. Rest in the Lord.
"Elesie my beloved sister, sleep and be loved, sleep and take your rest while you lay your head upon the Saviours chest, we love you dear but Jesus loves best. Goodbye and good night, R.I.P."
"Goodbye My Sister - in - Law
Elesie was a very respectful young woman who always showed reverence to me as her brother-in-law. She never lost that age-long African tradition where age is respected.
Elesie had a good heart: when my mother died in November 2013, she was among the first sympathizers to call me. Despite her illness, Elesie never failed to call me on each of my birthdays. I was always embarrassed each time she called because I never returned the favor during her own birthdays. Yet, that did not deter her. People are remembered, not for their accumulated riches in this world, but for the noble legacy they leave behind. She was selfless in her deeds.
Elesie will forever be remembered. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
"Sadly, I never knew a time when my Auntie Precious was not sick. Fortunately, I saw her be a survivor, a fighter, and a lover. There was no Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Birthday of mine where my Auntie did not call. She would speak with strength and enthusiasm that I saw nowhere else. I am very glad to know that she can rest in peace with God."
"Dear Elesie,it is very painful to loose a young, promising lady like you just like that,We can only submit to the will of the Almighty God who is all knowing.I pray that the Almighty God will comfort and console all of us;your friends, your prayer- partners, family especially your daughter and mother.May God give us the fortitude to bear this great loss.We all however take consolation in the fact that you lived a good life, touched many lives positively(won many souls for Christ).May your gentle Soul Rest In Perfect Peace at the Bossom of our Lord Jesus Christ unil we meet on the resurrection morning,Amen!ADIEU!!!"
"Elesie, you have flown like a dove to join the saints who had gone before. You were humility personified. To God be the glory for your life. Sickness, pain and man have lost their power over you. You will be forever missed by us. Rest in peace gentle soul in the bosom of your Maker, till that glorious resurrection morning when we will meet to part no more.
Enyinnaya Eme Onwuka."
"Glory be to God for a life well-spent, because I know where you are, resting in the Lord. This is still quite the surprise to me because we just spoke only a few days before the news. I really miss you, especially the day to day fellowship we usually had over the phone. I will miss your calm, encouraging, exciting, and inspiring thoughts that you would often share with me. I find solace knowing that you went to heaven with happiness, and thoughts of you will forever remain green in our hearts. Sleep well, beloved sister."
"Elesie my dearest, we had fellowship over the telephone on 01/01/14. We shared the Good News about Jesus- his love, greatness and mighty power. You sounded very strong and was full of Joy. There was no clue that you had answered the call and was going to be with your father, the Almighty God. Yes, our Lord Jesus came for you at an hour I did not expect.
Elesie, you touched many lives, but you touched me in many special ways. I will always remember your gentle but powerful words of encouragement. You were a source of strength for many to tap into. You will be missed.
To Jesus Christ be glory and power forever and ever. To the family, be courageous, be very courageous. Amen!"
"Having only spoken the you the week before, the news of your passing hit me like a truck. We take solace in the knowledge that you are in a better place. REST IN PEACE"
"Mom I miss you so much. I know you are with GOD and at peace now. I love you so very much. I thank GOD for giving me a wonderful, caring mother like you."
"When I think of my Aunty Elesie, the first thing that comes to mind is how big of a heart she had. Aunty Elesie--without fail--remembered all of me and my siblings’ birthdays, every year, and she was sure to call us on each birthday and enthusiastically wish us well.
One of the most special memories I have of Aunty Elesie was a conversation we had over the phone when I was in my third year of college. All she had for me were encouraging words and a strong confidence that God would show me which career path to take. She told me not to worry, that God had a purpose for my life and that He had given me everything I needed to succeed. That is the type of caring, loving, warm, and precious aunt that Aunty Elesie was.
I still cannot believe that Aunty Elesie, Aunty Precious, is gone, but I know that she is resting with the Lord and that she is at complete peace. I love you, Aunty Precious, and I know we will meet again in Heaven."
"Dear Elesie,My eyes are filled with tear as I write this. However, there is hope in our Lord because He gives comfort. He knows the best for us.May your young soul rest in perfect peace in our Saviour.May your family and friends always remember you as you lived your life.Adieu my friend ( it's hard to say) ."
I thank God for the moments I was able to spend with you. You are one of the strongest women I have ever met, and you fought courageously through life. I am sadden to lose you so soon, but I know you are resting peacefully in Heaven. I thank you for the impact you made on my life, and the blessing you were to my mother and so many others. May you rest in peace."
"YOU WERE A VERY SWEET , GENTLE AND KIND LADY . WE WILL MISS YOU SO MUCH . THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO MANDKIND AND FOR NDI INYOM ABIRIBA IN PARTICULAR. GOODBYE FOR NOW ELDER ELESIE!!!!"
You will surely be missed. Your journey to our maker shall be protected by His Everlasting Lights, and may your Gentle Soul Rest in Perfect Peace. Amen and Amen
"As an "Ideal Virtuous" Lady, Ukanwa will forever be missed everywhere by family, friends and colleagues for her indelible virtuous life worthy of emulation in modesty, humility, honesty, candor and selflessness which endeared her to contemporaries' ..... Yes her name Ukanwa speaks for itself .... May God grant her gentle soul eternal REST !"
I pray that I will be woken up from this nightmare even though I know that will not happen. I miss you more as the days go bye. My consolation is that you will continue to live through your good works. Greet Papa!"
"Dearest Sister/Friend, Since it has pleased the Lord to call you home at this time I have come to accept it and resign to the Lord's will. Ps.116:15 " Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants." I'm already missing our prayer and sharing moments. But we will continue in the work of the ministry to comfort the hurting and the dejected as the Lord has called us to do. There is no doubt we will meet again in Heaven, at the feet of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
Words are inadequate to express the shock and sorrow I felt when the news of your demise reached me. It was less than three weeks after you had called to express gratitude for our visit. You sounded so strong and I had thanked God for the dramatic improvement in your health. I did not anticipate this sudden reversal.
Someone wrote that “some people come into our lives, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never the same”. Such would be your legacy for you touched so many with your soft and genuine words of encouragement. You fought hard and endured long and now, at the bosom of your Maker, Lover and Savior, I know you have found rest and peace. He has wiped every tear from your eyes, and you have no more pain. As the Word of God says, “the memory of the righteous is a blessing” Proverbs 10:7. Your memory, Elesie, is a blessing. Thank you for your love and service. You will never be forgotten.
And now, I pray that God will bring comfort, peace and healing to the hearts of your daughter, husband, mother, siblings, relatives and the friends you left behind. May God somehow fill the gapping void you have left in Jesus Name. Amen.

"Aunt Elesie passed away, on January, but her spirit lives on.
I’m honoured to represent my family to give remarks about my aunt Elesie.
I told My Mummy that I could reflect effectively on Aunt Elesie in 2 minutes, and she assured me that those two minutes do not apply to me, so I’m going to take my liberty, and you can blame her for the extra time that I take.
Actually, there is no amount of time I could be allotted that would be ample to do justice to who my aunt was and what she instilled in my life—in the lives of so many—but to my life in particular. I’m convinced that whatever I am, whatever I am to become, I owe to those who have left an imprint on my life: my parents, yes, who gave me life; my Aunt Elesie, too, who enriched that life, She was refined strong Christian , and one might even say, defined, her live life a success.. And she never say no when she is asked to do something in the church. That, too, was God’s will. For so many reasons, and in so many ways, Aunt Elesie left an indelible mark upon my life.
Her impact for me was unique in that it spanned some of the most vital years in my development—beginning prior to and into my formative years. She shaped my values, solidifying a faith in Christ that would not be shaken. She is respectable person, very likeable, who value of an education, and to work hard and I got to see the fruit that hard work yields.
She took care of a house like no one else could, she was a gracious hostess, she was phenomenal
But the truth of the matter is what the Bible teaches us that a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses. And as much as Aunt Elesie enjoyed her share of things, she understood what really mattered. Now, she was not perfect, But she also possessed something that is so unique and sadly, it’s growing increasingly unique: She had a servant’s heart. Hers was a life of true sacrifice. . God is God, and He knows how to get things done, but one thing I’ve learned in this life is that God uses people, and He used her.
I thank God for the opportunity. Some people don’t get that opportunity. It is something I will always cherish, and I knew God had a plan and He worked it as only He can. I can’t say I understand it all, because I don’t, but I trust God.
Aunt Elesie’s life was miracle after miracle after miracle, and I thank God for every moment of this past year where He steadily strengthening her, and sustaining her, and still using her! He is a miracle working God!
Aunt Elesie may have departed this life, but her legacy lives on. It lives on in the lives of so many, and it lives on in me. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the servant’s heart that she had, but even if I possess a modicum of that servant’s heart she carried throughout her life, I will be a much better person—and even then it won’t be because of anything I could ever have been on my own. It’ll be because of the grace of God, and because of those who have poured into my life—and among the most prominent of those individuals is my aunt, Elesie.

So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.I thank God that your spirit is alive and you are in a better place with your Creator. Good Night!!!"

"Hi Ngozi Emole, May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences"
"Our dear Elesie, the complexity of your call to glory at this prime time of your life is incomprehensible but cannot be questioned. The Lord knows better. The Almighty father, our creator knows very well when He wants to harvest in His own field and which crop (s) He needs at the time of His harvest. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen. On behalf of ACIU women New York."

"Can somebody just call and tell me this is not true. Elesie Emole as I fondly call her is gone. Elesie has been a childhood for over thirty years. This news struck me like a lighting and it is still very hard for me to accept. Elesie's call was the first call I got this Christmas to wish me a merry xmas and we spoke for along time, little did I know that was going to be it.
Elesie will be greatly missed. Renee, Mama, your family, friends and community need you but the Lord need you most. Rest in the bossom of your maker."
"Today's precious moment, turn into tears of tomorrow. But while our hearts grow heavy, grief-stricken and weary. We know that you are resting in peace, in the hands of God. As your ashes rest peacefully here on earth, your soul will live eternally. Continue to rest in peace, Aunty!"
"Anti Precious RIP . You were such an amazing aunt, mother, sister, wife, daughter, and friend. You would call for every holiday, every birthday , and every life event which I truly appreciated and will always appreciate. You were a very selfless person with a big heart and you will always be missed. I know that you are with God and are reunited with Grandpa, so please enjoy eternal life, and dine with the King :)"
"MY DEAR NEIGHBOR, I STILL CANNOT UNDERSTAND BUT YOU HAVE BEEN CALLED HOME BY THE MOST HIGH GOD. ITS HARD TO ACCEPT BUT WHAT CHOICE DO WE HAVE, REST IN PEACE. YOU HAVE RUN YOUR RACE AND HAVE BEEN GIVEN YOUR MANY CROWNS, GLORY BE TO GOD, THE ONE THAT SAID TO YOU, WELL DONE GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. YOU WILL BE MISSED DEAR."
"Elesie, little did i know that the phone call I made to you on December 24th from my office was the last discussion we will have on this earth. Elesie, I remembered vividly what you said to me when I called to check on you. You complained that i do not call you quite often and that you wanted us to stay longer on the phone. My response to you was that i was in the office and was just checking on you and to let you know that i was travelling home the next day.I am glad I made that call on that faithful day. The news of your passing came as a shock to me knowing that you did not show any sign of sickness when I spoke with you. Elesie, may your gentle sould find solace in the Lord. We will miss you."
"Elesie, we met and became friends whilst at University of Nigeria. Our friendship and memories of the time we spent will always be cherished. Your passing came as a shock but I trust that God knows best. May your soul rest in perfect peace. Unoma"
""Elesie, what a shame I never got to meet you in person after all these years as a close friend of Ngozi. You must have been such a wonderful person judging by the tributes left for you by friends and family. You are now free as there is no more pain. Sleep peacefully in the Lord's bossom, angel and may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace!""
"My Dear Elesie,
God will continue to bless the day I met you. For a friend, you were so young but so wise. Your faith in God was unmovable. Your devotion to God and man was unsurpassable. And your loyalty to your friends was unshakeable. You put others, both family and friends before yourself. You made your decisions based on what Jesus would do. You had the strength of Samson and you fought gallantly till the end.
Elesie, I will miss you dearly. I can’t wait to see the brilliance of the jewels on your crown in heaven.
Sleep well, my “Little Sister”-Friend!
Sleep tight my Prayer Warrior!
Rest in Peace my Precious!"
"Elesco, (that's what I called her) what a shock!!!. It's still hard to take it all in. I take solace in our last conversation. I will miss you so much. I will miss your positive and upbeat attitude and your spirit of sisterhood. God knows best and we trust in his infinite wisdom. I totally agree with Chijioke's comment " We do not question God's will in any manner whatsoever. Rest in perfect peace my dear sister. Ifeoma Onuoha (nee Emole)."
"Dear Aunty Elesie,
It is such a shame we never met. From the tributes below, it shows you were a faithful Christian right to the end. You are definitely forever missed.
We shall surely meet. Amen."
"Elele-Mama! Prayer Warrior! Intercessor! The Lord has taken you. Thanks for being my Sister and Teacher. All that you taught me are embedded in my heart. Sleep on Sister in the bosom of the Almighty God Till we meet to part no more - AMEN!"

Head Boy FGCJ 1979-1980"
"My dear Elesie, you are a candle in the wind. REST IN PERFECT PEACE."
"Your exit is very painful but we stand in awe of our creator who has the final say. Aunty, your legacy lives on. Adieu, till we meet again."
"Elesie believed in God, yet being a daughter of the Most High she was humble and so down to earth. My family shares the pain of this loss and yet we all are comforted by the knowledge that she is resting with the Lord our God."
"“I understand why God would want you by His side”.
Your departure is so painful, however who am I to question God. I will forever miss all our laughing during the good times and crying during the bad ones. I miss being able to call you any time and spend hours talking about everything under the sun. I count it a privilege to have developed a friendship with you over the past years. You shared your story and dreams with me and you shared your gifts with the world.
My thoughts would always go back to the last time we had the chance to have a meaningful conversation December 7th 2013 just before I traveled to Nigeria for Okochi. It turned into the most meaningful and emotional conversation we ever had. I remember so often the nights when you stayed up till 11pm sometimes past midnight talking about the things we believed in, the love for family, and the future of your ministry. It is still hard not to miss times like those. You were an angel; an angel who taught me the meaning of friendship, the meaning of a good in-law, the reasons for loving everyone (including those who care less about you). You also included those who do not understand the meaning on love. How do I adequately honor someone who brought joy at every giving moment?
Elesie my precious, you will be dearly missed. But I can understand why God would want such a beautiful angel on his side so soon and so timely. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and friendship. I gain hope knowing that you are with the Lord and that I will see you again in heaven one day. You lived your life for Jesus, and now you can enjoy the presence of God.
You once told me that,“if it pleased God that I remain for a season, then I ought to do something with the gift of life I have been given”.
I'll never forget you Elesie.
Mrs. Ego Mang Ndukwe"
"Elsie-I did not have the opportunity of meeting you, but heard so much about your courage, through your loving sister and my dear friend Uche.
We consistently had you in our daily prayers, knowing that God's grace was more than sufficient.
God has finally called you home, who are we to question Him?. We know you are sitting at the right hand of God resting in peace, as one of His angles.
We pray for God's peace upon your loved ones you left behind. Amen!"
"My dear Elesie,I still cant believe you are gone.life indeed so short. My only consolation is that you are resting in the bossom of the LORD.Adeiu nwanem. You will be greatly missed."
"Elesie you have been promoted to glory and I know this is true by all the testimonies contained on this page. Uche, may you and the rest of the Echeme Emole clan be comforted. Unu gbekwa akwa. Jesus binde unu aka r'obu. May the Lord give you all strength."
"Dear Elesie, you will be deeply missed.Rest in peace in the bossom of our Almighty Lord,IJN,amen"
"Elesie,I'm sad to hear that you are gone, God knows best,I pray that God will give your loved ones and family the fortitude to bear the loss. RIP!!!"
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
(Revelation 21:4, KJV)
May today's tears of heartfelt sorrow
Be signs of hope for a brighter tomorrow
And the pain and grief that we are feeling
Give way to joy through God's merciful healing
For goodbye is not 'gone forever'
It's only for a while
And when we get together again
We'll share in one big smile.

"Elder Ukaku Agbai Mang and family commiserate with the Chief E. Emole clan and Prof Kalu Ndukwo on the loss of Elesie. Rest in perfect peace, Elesie."
"Elesie nwannem kedu, what can I say, go in peace till we meet again. I close my eyes and I can see you back in the 70's at Ekulu Primary school Enugu, you were in my brother (Amaechi's) class, I would come and peep through the window, and you would say Chike kedu, that made my day always. Chukwu ma why he called you so soon, Ezigbo mmadu na ba na udo Amen,"
"It was with great shock and sadness that I learnt of this sad news this morning. I have very fond memories of Elesie from Nsukka, Enugu and Abiriba over the years. Each time we met she would always tease me like a big sister. and although I had not seen her for many years, had looked forward to doing so at some point.
I always admired her gentleness, soft-spoken simplicity and open heartedness.
May her beautiful soul rest in peace and may God give all her family and loved ones the grace to get through this very difficult time, taking solace in the memories of the time we had with her"
"I miss you somuch aunty. Rest in Peace"
"Elesie, you will be truly missed. Your faith was unshakeable and you had such inner strength to believe that things will always get better. Thanks for your friendship, prayers and support. We shared a lot together through the years, merging our faith together through every challenge. You have indeed fought a good fight and you finished on a high note, now you have entered your rest, dancing in the streets of gold, radiant as your Savior welcomes you home. There are no more pain, no suffering just peace and on broken songs of praise for a saint who is home. Rest in peace my friend."
"My heart felt condolence to the entire family.May Almighty God,grant you all the courage to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude."
You were gone too soon. However, we leave all things to God Almighty. He knows best. For the brief 47-year span of your life, you were a deep spiritual presence in the lives of many around the globe.
We are grateful that you were a part of our family and lives -- and you will always remain with us even as you look down from heaven.
Rest in Perfect Peace.
Chijioke Echeme Emole"
"My Dearest Sister and Friend, you had pulled through the roughest time and gave all of us hope that the battle was finally over only for the news we got on the 9th. You were so very brave and full of courage, never complaining, always encouraging, praying and reaching out to everyone as much as possible. You gave sooooo much of yourself despite your pain, which is why many are shocked to hear you had been sick. What a Stoic Christian example you have left behind! You wouldn't ever want us to question God as you always submitted to God's will throughout this battle, so we will not question Him either, we submit too! I know that All things will work for the good of the family you left behind especially your darling Renee. You left a glowing legacy and awesome testimony, of one who fought the good fight and truly finished her course. I am sure according to Isaiah 57:1 "The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil", you are resting peacefully after receiving a very hearty 'Well done, good and faithful servant, Enter into the Joy of The Lord'. Continue to Rest in The Lord's bosom. Adieu my dear friend!! Good night dear Elesie, we shall meet up in eternity in heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Rest In Peace"
"Great lioness, Elesie, you will be missed so dearly. I pray to the almighty God that your soul will continue to rest in perfect peace. I know you are with the lord but we will miss you. I vividly remember you at UNN always telling me "Kalu, Ini hu Agagba ta". Rest my lioness, rest."
"Elsie, I never met you but I know about your testimony through your sister Uche and I was encouraged! To think you are gone now, I know you are resting with The Lord! Rest In Peace!"
"Elesie, you may be gone from this world, but you will always be in our hearts and minds. You departed leaving us with so many wonderful memories, we will cherish them forever. May God grant you eternal rest and peace!"
"My dear sister as your spirit live on l pray the good Lord who is the end of our journey here on earth and our everlasting friend in eternity will preserve you in his bosom till we all meet again.
it is really tough for me to accept but our God is faithful may he guide your family and comfort us all at this time and your candle will forever shine strong forever Amen."
"My sweetest friend ever,my prayer partner and my sister from another mom,my tears continue to flow.I never knew it would end this way but I take solace in the fact that He who called you, perfected you before calling you to glory.Even in death, your testimony continues to draw souls to Jesus and that's all that matters!.Continue to rest in peace,my bosom friend!."
""Gone too soon, Elesie, You will surely be missed. May God grant you eternal rest and peace!""
"Elesie, I thank the Lord for your life and for His mercy and grace that were upon you.You fought the good fight of faith and you ran the race that was set before you with peserverance and now you are with your Creator, free from pains, sicknesses and diseases. I was hoping I would see you again on this earth but it did not happen. I will see you in heaven when my time comes for me to return to my Maker. REST IN PEACE."
