A dedicated member of Community Baptist Church in Valley, she was active in the Choir, as a Missionary and the Culinary Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ocie L. Huguley, Jr., two children, Beverly A. Huguley and Ocie L. Huguley III and a sister, Georgia Lee Frederick.  
Her surivors include:  four devoted children, Bridget (Amos) Newton, Stephen (Madie) Huguley, Diane Huguley and Solomon (Juvuna) Huguley); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Minister Pearlie (Rev. Napoleon) Darden, Mary (Rozell) Floyd and Betty (Elder Donald) Tillman; two brothers, Johnny B Frederick and Jimmy Frederick; one aunt, Katherine Brown; two sisters-in-law, Linda H. (Robert) Mitchell and Lottie H. (Clyde) Cannon; god sister, Tanya Gates, special neighbors, Elease Carter, Darryl Carter, John Lowe, Jr., Bertha Brown, James Brown and Willie Reed; and, a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends including special friends, Bobbie and Tyrone Burton, Pastor David and Becky Quinn and Becky Cairns.
