The two years has gone by so fast. You've missed seeing your grand kids graduate and do things that've made us so proud. I feel like you've been with us helping and cheering us along. We're trying to maintain our traditions as best as we can. We miss you and dad so much. I'm happy that both of you are with Jesus. I'll see you soon one day.

Today is the one year anniversary of Mom's passing. It has been a tough year for us all. We miss her in ways we didn't know were possible. The family gatherings, the Sunday afternoon phone calls, her many visits, etc. Mother's Day and Thanksgiving were especially hard for us. Through God's grace and strength we persevered. Although she's gone, her legacy still lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grand child. We will love each other, sacrifice for each other, and carry each other's burdens the way she did. Although she's gone, she will never ever be forgotten. We love and cherish her memory forever.

So very sorry for your loss, 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says, Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God.

To the best Mom God ever gave a child! I'm all that I am because of you. I'm proud of the life you lived. I'm mostly proud because you trusted Jesus with your life. Therefore, you simply went to sleep and entered into his rest. I know He said to you "Well done my good and faithful servant, enter into my rest." I love you Mom! You were the best.
