Vickie Temetrius Towles Dozier was born Monday, November 12, 1962 to the parentage of Clinton and Mable Ricks Towles, Sr. in Chambers County, Alabama. She joined Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, AL at an early age. Her love for Christ was shown throughout her life –even through her sickness, her faith in the Lord remained strong.
 

Ms. Dozier was a 1980 graduate of Valley High School in Valley, AL. During her high school matriculation, she was a cheerleader and active in other curricular activities. Vickie was a loving mother, glam-ma (grandmother) and friend.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Eley and Zeola Towles and maternal grandparents, Jessie and Emma Booker. Vickie T. Towles Dozier departed this life on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in EAMC-Lanier Memorial Hospital, Valley, AL.
 

She leaves to cherish precious memories: her children, Kanasheia Dozier, Atlanta, GA, Vincent (Robyn) Dozier, Lanett, AL and Makela Dozier, Valley, AL; two granddaughters, whom she loved more than anything, Jakalyn Dozier and Carsyn Dozier both of Valley, AL; four brothers, Randy Ricks and Clinton Towles, Jr. both of Miami, FL, Walter Ricks, Atlanta, GA and Pataska Towles, Lanett, AL; a special cousin, Nina Winston, Lanett, AL; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends including her special sister/friend, Tracey Walker, Lanett, AL.
