Mrs. Willie Pearl Thomas was born on June 5, 1931 in Tallapoosa County to the late Mr. Jack and Nannie Grant.
She joined Flint Hill Baptist Church at an early age where she announced Jesus as her Savior.
She was married to the late Mr. Myle David Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Four sons: Myle Gerald (ldella) Thomas of Hampton, VA; Reginald Thomas of Alexander City, AL; Michael (Shanette) Thomas of Adams TN; Steve Thomas of Montgomery, AL. Two daughters: Linda Bledsoe and Sandra Kendrick, both of Alexander City, AL. Five sisters: Louise (Leon McKinney of Compton, CA; Ethel Smith of Alexander City, AL; Carolyn Brown, Shirley Faye (Sonny) Bevel, and Juanita Paige, all .of Birmingham, AL. Two brothers: Dewey Grant and Howard Grant, both of Birmingham, AL. Twenty-four (24) grandchildren, thirty-four (34) great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A dear friend, Rosie Lee Thomas of Rockford, AL.
Burial at Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
