On Sunday, February 8, 2015, Mamie Jackson Harrison responded to the Lord calling her home in Chicago, Illinois.

Mamie Jackson Harrison was born November 21, 1932 to the parentage of the late David and Emma Lizzie Billingsley Jackson in West Point, GA. At an early age, she confessed Christ as her Savior and joined New Zion Baptist Church in Lanett, AL.

Mamie was preceded in death by: one sister, Daisy M. Thurman; and, three brothers, David E. Jackson, Hayward Jackson and Johnny Jackson.

A legacy of love is entrusted to the following survivors: a loving and devoted daughter, Louise Williams, Chicago, IL; one loving grandson, Brandon (LaToya) Nichols, Chicago, IL; two beautiful grandchildren, Brianna Nichols and Brooke Nichols both of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Luella Smith, Atlanta, GA and Daisy B. Gilliam, West Point, GA; two brothers, Leon “Lee” (Dovilene) Jackson, Chattanooga, TN and Frank Jackson, LaGrange, GA; several nieces and nephews; and, a host of other relatives and friends.
